Foresight Exhibition

As we read Architectural League's call for submissions entitled “foresight” we agreed that any attempt to describe architecture’s future will be, indeed, bad taste. In the middle of a crisis caused by infinite truth on anticipation and forethought, in expected revenues, delayed payments, long term loans and futures market, it seem painfully obvious that, if something matter, was not the future but rather how to deal with -- current -- the consequences. We envision an exhibition that arranges architectural operations in a tripartite array: foreclosures, real estate and credit, which refer as much to their original meaning as to last years economic reorganization, i.e. the dramatic increase of foreclosures, the burst of the real estate bubble and the extreme lack of credit. Nothing but to the conditions in which we operate.
